Fisher Associates is seeking a motivated Health and Safety Manager to lead and strengthen our company-wide workplace safety efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced safety professional who brings strong expertise in OSHA compliance, risk management, safety training, and regulatory reporting, and who enjoys working collaboratively across office and field environments.

In this role, you will lead multi-state safety initiatives, partner with leadership and project teams, and help integrate health and safety into daily operations as a core business priority.

Fisher Associates is a multidisciplinary design services firm headquartered in Rochester, NY, with eight locations nationwide. • Champion a strong, inclusive workplace safety culture aligned with company values.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, including OSHA and licensing requirements.
• Lead and continuously improve company-wide safety programs, policies, procedures, SOPs, and management systems.
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk mitigation, safety audits, inspections, and corrective action initiatives.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new hire orientation, required certifications, and specialized training.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, ensuring accurate reporting and preventive action implementation.
• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and partner with HR on employee safety matters.
• Track and report safety performance metrics, including OSHA logs, regulatory reports, and annual submissions.
• Lead the Fisher Associates Safety Committee and facilitate regular meetings.
• Plan and execute safety initiatives and company-wide safety communications.
• Oversee safety-related programs including PPE, vehicles, equipment inspections, medical surveillance, and emergency planning.
• Serve as the company’s health and safety subject matter expert, supporting project teams and proposal efforts.
