SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Team Leader of Starlight Studio Without Walls provides programmatic, supervisory, and operational leadership for a community-based arts program serving artists with disabilities. This role oversees staff, artists, and partnerships to ensure high-quality, person-centered services that support artistic development, community integration, exhibition, and career advancement. The Team Leader strengthens community connections, promotes artists’ work, and contributes to organizational growth through outreach, marketing, and development initiatives.

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities, behavior support practices, and person-centered services.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Services or related field; five years of direct service experience with people with disabilities; three years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or arts-related field; three years of direct service experience; two years of supervisory experience.

Valid New York State driver’s license in good standing, New York automobile insurance, and a reliable motor vehicle required.
