CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager III opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: 12 months

Overview

The Project Manager III manages high-priority and complex projects impacting multiple businesses or functional areas. This role is responsible for overseeing scope, schedule, cost, and risk while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through close
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Gather requirements and define deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance, manage change controls, and address risks
  • Communicate project status, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams
  • Ensure compliance with company risk, regulatory, and internal control standards
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment
Scope of Responsibilities
  • Oversees high-visibility projects with enterprise-wide impact
  • Manages cross-functional coordination, execution, and delivery
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities
  • Contributes to technical and professional direction within the project management discipline
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience
  • OR
  • A combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 4 years of proven project management experience
  • Strong expertise in project management, stakeholder communication, and technical/domain knowledge
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software tools
Education and Experience Preferred
  • Experience managing large, complex initiatives in regulated environments

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
