Job DescriptionMoog Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Transition Project Manager (OE). You will report directly to the Global Transition Manager and primarily support the smooth implementation of the Work Transfer process, BMDL-12-1106. Your role is largely influential in driving adherence to the Work Transfer process by providing strong facilitation, project management, and leadership in a team‑based organization for planning, organizing, and implementing business strategies.
- Facilitate the definition and completion of Stage 1 and 2 requirements as defined by the Work Transfer process, BMDL-12-1106, guided by the Site Transition Manager and/or Global Transition Manager.
- Act as project manager at the sending/receiving site, whichever is applicable, for multiple major/complex work transfer initiatives based on priorities defined by Commercial OE strategies.
- Ensure effective collaboration and coordination in creating and maintaining multiple project transition plans for major transition projects that meet project objectives and deliverables.
- Lead the communication and chair governance meetings to review project status, project schedule and cost performance index.
- Help clear minor roadblocks within control and/or develop mitigating action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks in collaboration with key project team players and stakeholders.
- Manage and drive day‑to‑day execution and coordination of cross‑functional activities and ensure timely escalation of any major blocking issues that can impact the execution of the project transition plan to the Site Transition Manager and/or Global Transition Manager.
- Build strategic relationships at all levels of the organization across different sites, from site leadership team to first‑line process owners impacted by the transition process.
- Generate improvement ideas and document lessons learned to improve the Work Transfer process and strategies.
- BS degree in engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading work transfer initiatives, multiple or highly complex projects, and use of project management tools.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in project management, program management, product engineering, methods, or manufacturing engineering and/or operations.
- Exhibited strong sense of leadership, effective facilitation, emotional intelligence, and team collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement principles is highly desired.
- Travel requirement: 20‑30%.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
