DC Power Technician

Pay Rate$25 - $35
Scope of Work- Install, test, and commission DC power systems including battery banks, rectifiers, and distribution panels.
- Perform routine maintenance and load testing of DC batteries (VRLA, NiCad, Lithium-ion, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair DC power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and log power system performance and report issues or trends.
- Follow technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for equipment setup.
- Adhere to safety standards, codes, and regulations in all work activities.
- Maintain documentation for work performed, including test results and service records.
- Travel to customer sites and work independently or as part of a team.
- Provide emergency support and participate in on‑call rotations if required.
- Must use own vehicle
- .45 per mile (only gets mileage from home to site, site to site, site to home) (not hotel to site if staying overnight in a hotel)
- $125 a day per diem and tech books own hotel (must provide receipts for hotel to prove staying overnight somewhere)
