The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton-Buffalo Downtown is looking for a Building Superintendent to manage the maintenance operations of the property.

The Building Superintendent takes ownership and pride in the maintenance of the property, while fostering the BLA culture and values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Inclusiveness.

• Complete routine preventative maintenance on laundry equipment, HVAC, ice machines, fire extinguishers, alarms, lawn irrigation, exercise equipment, and plumbing.
• Maintain work order assignment boards, track completed or pending work orders, and follow up on incomplete orders with the requesting guest or department.
• Evaluate and select quality vendors that are reliable and provide good value.
• Supervise the Maintenance Assistant on site – interview, hire, train, appraise performance, reward and discipline; plan, assign, direct work, address complaints, and resolve problems.

$26.00 - $34.00 per hour.

• At least three years of supervisory or lead mechanic experience in a hotel or related field.
• Demonstrated general mechanical skills.
• Basic repair, painting, wall covering, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operation, pool maintenance, and general maintenance skills required.
• Vocational training preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to approval.
