Law​/Legal Associate, Legal Counsel

Role Description

This is a full-time Associate position based on-site at our Buffalo, NY office. The Associate will collaborate with the firm’s legal team to manage cases across various practice areas, including researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, mediations and depositions. Additional duties involve client communication, legal analysis, and coordinating with other attorneys to ensure the delivery of exceptional legal services.

• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and writing.
• Experience in litigation, case management, and representation in court proceedings.
• Knowledge of insurance defense is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including adeptness in communicating complex legal matters clearly.
• Proficiency in legal technology and tools, including legal research platforms and document management systems.
• New York bar admission for a minimum of five years.
• Strong organizational, time management, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site professional environment in Buffalo, NY.
