Legal Secretary
Buffalo Biodiesel, Inc. is seeking a Paralegal to join our legal department located in Buffalo, New York. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual with a professional demeanor, strong time management, and organizational skills. The candidate must be able to independently complete tasks and follow up as needed.
Responsibilities- Draft correspondence and documents.
- Prepare pleadings and motions.
- Conduct research using online tools.
- E-file using NYSCEF.
- Manage 3-4 attorney calendars.
- Maintain physical and electronic files.
- Handle incoming and outgoing legal mail.
- Prepare legal documents for review and signing by corporate counsel.
- 5 years of paralegal experience.
- Strong time management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with follow up as needed.
- Bachelor's degree (Required).
- Notary Public certification (Required).
Schedule:
Monday – Friday (8am to 5pm)
