As a WAF Operations Solution Engineer, you will configure and maintain Web Application Firewall solutions to ensure optimal security and performance for client applications, manage incidents, and collaborate across teams.

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions.
• Provide operational coverage for web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events to detect threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with incident response and audit teams.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
• Assist with security audits and assessments.
• Stay current on emerging threats and technologies.
• Leverage Cloudflare, Imperva, and Terraform for deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years’ experience in web application security operations with a focus on WAF management.
• Hands‑on experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and Imperva.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong understanding of web protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
