License:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
Must-Have:
Graduation from an approved two-year Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate.
Description:
The Computed Tomography Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients.
This role is set in a fast-paced trauma and academic medical facility.
The technologist utilizes their expertise to create diagnostic images and ensures patients have a safe and positive experience.
They support teaching and continuous learning as the technology evolves.
In addition to trauma and emergency room scanning, technologists perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
The technologist practices and enforces radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State regulations.
The position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
