Must-Have:
Experience with cardiac exams, as most scans focus on cardiac imaging.
Ability to perform high-quality MR scans for both inpatients and outpatients.
Experience with various patient age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Description:
This role provides full-time coverage Monday through Friday.
The MRI Technologist will support imaging services by performing high-quality scans.
The position requires collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff.
The average daily census is 7, with 7 visits per day in a single MRI room.
The staffing ratio during the day is 1:2.
Weekends are not required, although travelers may occasionally need to stay for inpatient scans.
Required skills include preparation and administration of contrast media.
Professional knowledge of isolation precautions and radiation safety is essential.
Preferred skills include specialized imaging procedures and advanced cardiovascular techniques.
Electronic documentation experience is preferred.
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience are favored.
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
