Position Summary
: UB Associates is seeking an experienced and motivated Billing Manager to support high-quality patient care through efficient, compliant, and performance-driven revenue cycle operations. This role plays a key leadership position in overseeing billing, coding, and collections functions while partnering with organizational leadership to improve workflows, staff performance, and financial outcomes across assigned practices.

• Revenue Cycle & Billing Operations
  • Support daily operations of billing, coding, collections, accounts receivable, and insurance verification
  • Serve as a resource for revenue cycle workflows, Epic billing systems, and payer requirements
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and performance monitoring including:
  • Accounts receivable (AR)
  • Denials management
  • Charge lag
  • Collections performance
• Leadership & Staff Support
  • Assist in supervising revenue cycle staff, including training, onboarding, and work distribution
  • Support recruitment efforts and team development initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards
• Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to improve revenue cycle outcomes
  • Support process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and practice success

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in physician billing, coding, collections, or revenue cycle operations
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with Epic or similar billing systems required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Medical coding certification preferred but not required
