Job DescriptionAccountable for overseeing the provision of safe and efficient Diagnostic Imaging Services including Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scanning, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day‑to‑day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Duties will include the maintenance and coordination of proper staffing within the Imaging Department (technical and clerical staff); monitoring expenditures to obtain maximum efficiency;
overseeing the development and maintenance of testing standards, regulatory compliance, staff qualifications, quality assurance activities, and monitoring overall departmental function in accordance with New York State and JCAHO standards. Manages direct patient caregivers and deals directly with patients or family. Understands expectations of physicians and works with site team to develop a referral base.
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s in Clinical, Medical Imaging preferred. Radiology Technologist license required.
Experience3 years as a staff technologist required. 3 years of professional management experience, including material management and budgeting, preferred. 3 years of clinical setting experience preferred. 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

- Wage will be determined based on candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
