Job DescriptionTo provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing radionuclides.
Education and CredentialsAAS or BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology required. Must meet educational requirements set by ARRT or NMTCB. Certification must remain current and active. Rad Tech Nuclear NYS DOH required upon hire. Nuclear Medicine Technologist within 90 Days required, or American Registry of Radiologic Technicians - Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N) within 90 days required. Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 days from hire or transfer required.
Existing Imaging Technologists as of 11/10/2020 will have until 8/31/2021 to obtain their BLS.
1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Tech position preferred.
