Pay Range: $27.50 - $35.00/hr
Job SummaryProvide speech/language therapy services to individuals as outlined in their Individual Education Plan or Individual’s Family Service Plan. Services are to be provided in accordance with New York State practice act guidelines for Speech/Language Therapy Services, the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association as well as in accordance with all company, state and federal standards and regulations; as well as within all regulations and requirements set forth by the organizations with which the company collaborates.

Minimum Degree
Required:
Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
Minimum Experience
Required:
None
License/Registration/Certification:
- Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification in NYS
- License in Speech/Language Pathology in NYS
- Current NYS Driver’s License
Training:
- Minimum of 30 hours of Continuing education per licensing period (3 years) as per NYS Office of Profession guidelines
- All required agency trainings
- All trainings required by programs you service individuals in, including but not limited to, OCFS and Early Intervention
The frequent physical demands of the position are sitting, standing, walking, climbing, talking, listening, repetitive motions, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling of children and grasping.
