Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a Clerk for our Dallas County Medical Center located in Buffalo, MO ! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the department: Dallas County Family Medical Center'squalified medical staff provide complete family health care for adults, children, mothers and infants; as wellas walk-in hours for convenient and quick care for a sudden illness or injury.
A typical day will include: Assisting in scheduling, handling telephone calls and routesto the appropriate person, including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by the Provider/Clinic manager.
- Answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screen emergencies.
- Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures.
- Communication with providers, and nursing staff.
- Responsible for exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assisting them with any questions or problems they have prior to leaving the clinic.

organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking - Licensure/Certification:
N/A - Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of day and stand for the remaining 10%
The position is:PRN rotating;as needed for M-F 8-4:30 Family Medicine or 9-8 pm walk-in hours.
