FP&A Analyst

The HT Group is partnering with a PE-backed organization seeking a high-performing, data-savvy FP&A Analyst to support value creation initiatives and drive financial and operational performance across the business. This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in high-impact projects, including M&A, FP&A, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed company where you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting acquisitions, and partnering closely with leadership.

This is a direct hire opportunity based in Buffalo, NY.

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities
• Build and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for leadership
• Support M&A activities, including financial modeling, diligence, and post-acquisition performance tracking
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, operations, consulting, or a similar role
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• 2+ years of experience with Sage Intacct
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment
