Intern - Position and Responsibilities
As an Intern with Middough, you will become an integral part of a project team(s) assisting with a variety of engineering processes and responsibilities based on the Internship engineering discipline assignment.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • May learn, participate in, or assist with project tasks and technical execution of projects with focus on quality, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Interact with other departments, Interns, and project teams to obtain and assist with pertinent project information and tasks.
  • May participate in projects with pressure relief analysis, flare system design and documentation, Process Flow Drawing (PFD), and P&t.
  • May learn AutoCAD, AFT Fathom/AFT Arrow, Navisworks, Cesar II, Compress, Nozzle Pro, and Newforma.
Education, Experience and Skills
The successful Intern candidate will possess the following:
  • Currently enrolled and working towards an associate degree or Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ability to learn new technology efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to multi-task and be highly organized.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge or ability to learn one or several of the following:
    • AutoCAD
    • AFT Fathom/AFT Arrow
    • Navisworks
    • Cesar II
    • Compress
    • Nozzle Pro
    • Newforma
