Our capabilities include OEM design, aftermarket services, engine accessory repairs, aircraft control components, and advanced avionics and digital airfield solutions.## ## Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group is hiring an Associate Product Engineer for an onsite role in East Aurora, NY.##

## As Associate Product Engineer, you will support aircraft production programs both at the Design Center and the Production Center.  Reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support to specific product lines and provide technical guidance to assembly and test personnel, or others in need of your product knowledge.## The Associate Product Engineer gets direction from more experienced Product Engineer team members when needed to support assembly and test operations but will work independently as well.##

The Associate Product Engineer supports all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and product delivery in several ways.## ##
** As an Associate Product Engineer, you will…**## * ## Provide clear production assembly and test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production. These instructions include formal work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos and electronic historical record (EHR) entries.* ## Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department* ## Assure and maintaining product integrity* ## Track and improve key company and department metrics* ## Provide direction and resolve issues via emails or other Moog processes* ## Support evening and early morning teleconferences with the overseas Production Center, approximately two times per week* ## Travel overseas 2-3 times per year for up to three weeks per trip* ## Product Engineers must periodically work additional hours to support program goals and product demand## ##
** To be considered for the Associate Product Engineer position, typically you will need…*** ## Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 1+ year of relevant technical experience OR a Master of Science Degree in Engineering, or related program* ## A Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted## ##
