- Apply knowledge of pressure vessel design, including ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 standards, in the design of capital process equipment.
- Design machinery and systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and aseptic process machine production.
- Conduct stress analyses and finite element analyses (FEA) and work with stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, controls, and refrigeration systems.
- Develop and understand large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and related applications.
- Manage projects, monitor cost variances, and interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Support equipment start‑up and validation activities.
- Promote and adhere to SHEQ (safety, health, environment, and quality) requirements for yourself, your department, and all contractors and visitors.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and that of drafting resources.
- Proficiency in computer tools and drawing software.
- Ability to work independently with efficiency and strong communication skills.
- Experience with refrigeration systems and heat‑transfer applications.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with vacuum systems and stainless steel fabrication.
- Understanding of electrical distribution, automation, and control systems.
- Ability to perform advanced stress analysis and FEA.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Availability for overtime when required.
- $75,000 – $85,000 per year.
