** Our team in the SDG Space Sector’s Actuation and Avionics Business Unit is looking for a
** Product Engineer
** to support production programs of both Hydraulic and Mechanical actuators on
** 2nd shift**. This person should be a self-starter and be able to be efficient with minimal direction. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and expected to be the technical point of contact in many areas, mainly in production test support.
** Day- to-Day Responsibilities:
*** Collaborate with senior engineers to provide required support for production programs.
* Provide direction to Technicians as well as coordinate with Program Management, Quality, Project Engineering, and Design Engineering to maintain high integrity products.
* Contribute to the analysis, design, development, and test of complex hardware used on commercial and NASA vehicles.
* Work with cross-functional teams to execute programs and deliver space-rated hardware to the customer.
* Identify and execute plans to improve cost and schedule on development and production programs.
* Generate technical data, reports, and procedures for assigned programs.
* Collaborate with other Moog resources to resolve production problems and perform Material Review Board (MRB) analyses.
* Evaluate, sustain, implement, and improve assembly & test methods, fixtures, and test equipment necessary for product delivery.

*** Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant technical experience.

* General knowledge in the areas of Test Equipment, NC’s / EHRs, LEAN, and Data Acquisition and Analysis

** Buffalo, NY $70,000.00–$95,000.00 Annually
