Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group.

Role descriptionFor this hybrid role, we are looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in large, complex civil development projects, such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping complexes, and educational campuses. Strong technical skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
Role accountabilities- Assist and participate in the execution of design tasks for civil infrastructure/site development projects, focusing on public and private sector developments.
- Work directly with a project team to assist with the completion of construction documents and related activities.
- Civil engineering design, including site layout, roadway layout, site grading and drainage, utility sizing and layout, storm water management design, including design of retention/detention facilities.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication and problem‑solving.
- Work with municipalities on permits.
- 3 or more years working on civil development projects for the private and/or public sector.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification or EIT working toward the PE exam.
- Experience working with internal or external teams as well as stakeholders, and can develop positive relationships with all parties.
- Commitment to health and safety.
The salary range for this position is $68,187 to $112,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
