Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer with recent bridge inspection experience to join our team. The role involves reviewing bridge conditions, coordinating inspections, and mentoring junior staff. Effective communication and adherence to technical standards are essential.

• Evaluate bridge and structure conditions.
• Review condition reports using designated software.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader to ensure timely inspections.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

• Recent bridge inspection experience with NYSDOT, TBTA, Port Authority of NY&NJ, NYSTA, NJDOT, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document conditions clearly and concisely.
• Focus on quality work adhering to technical guidelines.

• NYS PE license or NJ PE license with ability to transfer.
• 15-20 years of experience inspecting and QC'ing bridges and structures.
• Completion of NHI Bridge Safety Inspection Course or NYSDOT Bridge Inspection Workshop.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to project sites.

• Combination of office and field work, with travel required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to perform inspections, lift up to 50 lbs, and sit for extended periods.

Salary range: $130,000 - $185,000.
