We are a growing multi‑disciplined firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental scientists, geologists, planners, and landscape architects headquartered in Syracuse, NY, with branch offices throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, and Maine. We are currently seeking a full‑time Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources (Water/Wastewater) practice in our Watertown, NY office. Successful candidates will work within project‑focused teams.
Key Responsibilities- Civil engineering tasks;
- Engineering report preparation;
- Design calculations;
- Cost estimates;
- Fund/Grant applications;
- Production of specifications and design drawings;
- Funding program and permit coordination/compliance;
- Construction phase engineering.
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registration as an Engineer‑in‑Training (E.I.T.) in NY is a plus.
- Prior internship and/or work experience in the consulting engineering field is a plus.
- Proficiency in technical writing, solid marketing and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with teammates, staff, and clients.
$74,000 – $78,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographic location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
