Overview
This is a joint Biology Department/Great Lakes Center position. Teaching obligations are 50% of the expected obligation of full-time Biology faculty. This reduced teaching obligation will be offset by higher expectations to seek extramural funding to support research and graduate students. Teaching expectations will be in the area of aquatic biology and environmental sciences. Ability to network with local, regional, and state agencies a plus.
Two external, substantive grant applications per year and productive publication activity are expected.
- Teach in aquatic biology and environmental sciences (50% of full-time faculty obligations).
- Seek extramural funding to support research and graduate students.

- Track record or potential in grant applications and publications.
