Job Description:
Mount Saint Mary Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Buffalo, NY, serving grades 9-12 is seeking a full-time interim high school religion teacher from late February 2026 to the end of the academic year.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The religion teacher will encourage our students to grow in their faith while engaging them through well-planned, interactive lessons. The successful candidate will have content expertise, a desire to reach students from diverse backgrounds and a love of sharing and nurturing faith. The religion teacher will also have an active role in our Campus Ministry programming, specifically liturgy planning and service.
Qualifications:Required Education/
Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required in religious studies, theology, and/or religious education, but a master’s degree is preferable. The faculty member must be a practicing Roman Catholic.
DesiredSkills:
Familiarity of Google App for Education; some teaching experience preferred.
Salary:Minimum of $160/day.
