Academic Advisor and Enrollment Coordinator – University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY
The Undergraduate Program and Services Office (UPO) at the University at Buffalo School of Management seeks an Academic Advisor and Enrollment Coordinator to provide academic advising to School of Management students while supporting first‑year recruitment efforts. This position will manage a caseload of students across all majors, guiding them from admission through degree completion, and will also coordinate admissions activities related to first‑year and transfer students.
Key Responsibilities- Advise a caseload of undergraduate students in School of Management majors, supporting their academic goals, helping them overcome challenges, and guiding them toward timely degree completion.
- Collaborate with the UPO advising team to assist students in successfully transitioning to UB and progressing from admission to degree conferral.
- Serve as a liaison to enrollment management within the School of Management and central university admissions.
- Meet with and provide guidance to prospective students, clarify university policies and procedures, and participate in university‑sponsored recruitment events.
- Organize and participate in pop‑up events coordinated by central admissions locally and throughout the state (requires some travel).
- Coordinate staffing for all summer orientation sessions and play a key role in supporting first‑year and transfer courses.
- Assist with organizing and managing the department’s portion of university‑sponsored events.
- Run reports and track data related to year‑to‑year progress.
- Help coordinate marketing materials for admission‑related events and manage logistics.

- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience in higher education or specifically in academic advising and/or admissions.
- Master’s degree preferably in higher education or related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
Salary Range: $60,000
