Assistant Professor, Economic Geography, SUNY at Buffalo
The University at Buffalo (UB) Department of Geography invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economic Geography starting in Fall 2014. The department is seeking highly qualified candidates who show promise of establishing a strong research program, including extramural grants and publications in high quality refereed journals, through one or more specializations within the broader area of global economic processes and regional change.
The individual hired will also have teaching and service responsibilities including but not limited to undergraduate and graduate instruction, and the supervision of graduate student research in the Department. Skills in statistical analysis and/or GIS are highly desirable. A Ph.D. in Geography or a related discipline is required at the time of hiring.
