Substitute Teacher

Role Description

Christian Central Academy is seeking Substitute Teachers to support classrooms across all grade levels, Kindergarten through 12th grade. This on‑site, as‑needed position is based at our Williamsville, NY campus and offers flexible scheduling.

Substitute Teachers play an important role in providing continuity, care, and a positive learning environment when regular classroom teachers are absent.

• Following lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintaining a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
• Supporting student learning and engagement across a variety of subject areas and grade levels.
• Encouraging positive behavior and upholding CCA’s values and expectations.
• Communicating any questions, concerns, or notable observations to school staff.

• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with students of varying ages and learning needs.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• A heart for working with children and supporting a Christ‑centered school community.
• Teaching certification or prior classroom experience preferred, but not required.
