The School of Social Work at UB seeks a candidate to fill our position for a Full Professor/ Senior Scholar
.

• Procuring external funding from foundation, state and/or federal agencies.
• Conducting research and writing reports for funding agencies.
• Publishing research in various outlets including peer-reviewed journals and scholarly books, delivering presentations at top-tier conferences, and networking with others in the field.
• Traveling to other universities or academic settings to participate in learning opportunities.
• Participating in committee, departmental, and faculty meetings.
• Providing mentoring assistance to tenure-earning faculty and teaching assistants.
• Reviewing teaching materials and making recommendations for improvement.
• Assisting with student recruitment, interviews, and academic counseling sessions.
• Contributing to the creation of an environment that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
• Designing and delivering quality courses that synthesize and communicate knowledge and skills effectively to diverse students.
• Participating in professional service and leadership at local, state, regional, national, and/or global levels.
