Associate or Full Professor, Empire Innovation Professor, Biomedical Engineering
Join the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at University at Buffalo (UB) and apply for the position of Associate or Full Professor to become a Professor of Empire Innovation. Selected candidates will receive support through the SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP), which recognizes high‑caliber faculty with proven track records of externally funded research.
We invite applications from prominent leaders in AI and Biotechnology. Priority will be given to research areas such as AI‑assisted diagnostics, AI‑accelerated drug discovery and development, AI‑enabled personalized medicine, AI‑optimised healthcare delivery, and AI‑enhanced biomanufacturing.

They will be expected to maintain an active research program, teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, mentor graduate students, and advise students at all levels.
