As a dental hygienist at Concierge Dental Group, you will play a crucial role in providing top-quality care to our patients. You'll work alongside a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about what they do.
Responsibilities- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Take and develop digital dental x-rays
- Review medical history and perform preliminary examinations
- Communicate findings with the dentist and enter pre-existing treatment in patient charts
- Develop treatment plans with the dentist and treatment coordinator
- Communicate with patients and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and oral cancer screenings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office
- Fill hygiene schedule as needed
- License in dental hygiene
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
