Description
Acara Solutions is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join our client in Buffalo, NY! This role is the first point of contact for all internal business units, supporting order entry, processing, and resolution of complex customer requests. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM, 100% onsite
Pay: Up to 26/HR
Key Responsibilities- Utilize Fresh service (cloud‑based Service Management) to receive, track, prioritize, and resolve customer service requests through multiple channels
- Leverage automation tools, workflows, and accurate ticket documentation to ensure timely resolutions and efficient service delivery
- Support customer satisfaction by providing clear communication, using knowledge base resources, and maintaining accountability throughout the ticket lifecycle
- Analyze and process complex orders, ensuring all details are correct for warehouse fulfillment and preventing errors or delays
- Provide excellent service to internal customers, communicate respectfully, and proactively guide them through processes
- Adapt to evolving processes and procedures, helping shape efficient order management workflows
- Handle escalations, including credit requests, discounts, mispicks, and technical order issues, coordinating with engineers and other teams as needed
- Track metrics such as order volume, requests, and performance, with focus on high‑volume internal business units
- High school or equivalency;
Associates degree in Business, Communications or equivalent, preferred - Previous customer service, inside sales, or administrative/clerical experience preferred
- Ability to use MS‑Office, MS‑Outlook, and ERP business systems
