Retention Specialist – Buffalo Biodiesel, Inc.

Salary: $30/hour. This onsite position is located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY.

Hours:

7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Buffalo Biodiesel is a growing company that collects and recycles used cooking oil to produce biodiesel, a carbon‑reducing alternative fuel. We operate in fifteen states and serve over 27,000 locations.

• Receive and return inbound sales inquiries by phone and internet; answer and set up new or expanded services.
• Contact existing accounts and determine why oil production has slowed or stopped; reinstate services or clear accounts no longer in business.
• Receive and return inbound cancellation requests by phone and internet.
• Make all reasonable attempts to salvage and retain accounts, and when accounts cannot be saved, facilitate the cancellation.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum two years of customer success/customer retention experience required.
• Bi‑lingual in Spanish or Chinese preferred.
• Mastery level written and spoken communication, through use of word‑processing programs, creating spreadsheets, writing email, and speaking on the phone.
• Reliable, hard‑working, and motivated.
