Assistant Superintendent Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent who will play a key role in managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on schedule. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors and clients.
Responsibilities- Create a two-week look-ahead schedule using Procure, Excel, and email.
- Lay out work for subcontractors and maintain the project schedule.
- Attend meetings and communicate progress with the office and end customers.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints for apartments, including MEP and carpentry.
- Log the progress of trades and ensure construction milestones are met.
- Experience in trade coordination and field reporting.
- Experience in hotel and hospitality construction beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage construction planning.
- Strong project management and construction supervision skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- SST 10 certification is required.
- Proper trade experience and handyman skills are essential.
- Willingness to pick up tools and work when necessary.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes hotel locations in Buffalo, NY. The standard work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
