Job Description

* We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team in Buffalo, NY.

* The role involves overseeing the renovation of 360 units across 36 different buildings, with a project budget of $40M.

* This position is open due to the growth of incoming large projects and the retirement of some current superintendents.

Responsibilities

* Serve as the on-site leader overseeing daily operations of the project.

* Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of the project.

* Coordinate workers, subcontractors, and project schedules.

* Manage and oversee subcontractors.

* Prepare and manage lookahead schedules.

* Conduct daily reports and safety briefs.

* Perform toolbox talks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential Skills

* Experience in commercial construction.

* OSHA 30 certification.

* Proficiency in Procore.

* Ability to manage subcontractors effectively.

* Capability to read and interpret blueprints.

* Experience in running projects valued between $20M and $40M.

* Strong understanding of lookahead scheduling.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

* This role requires working onsite at a construction site for 40-50 hours a week.

* The position entails working in an active construction environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $64.90/hr.
