The Opportunity at Hand

The role of the Raw Materials & Operations Planning Intern is an integral member of the Global Planning Team adding value through assisting with forecasting activities, BOM and inventory data accuracy, monthly reporting, supplier requirement preparation, and cross‑functional coordination that supports overall demand and supply alignment.

Projects & Tasks
  • Support raw material planning processes, BOM structures, PLM workflows, and global forecasting methods
  • Create fabric and component forecasts by pulling data from line‑level forecasts
  • Support the consolidation of global raw material requirements and preparing weekly supplier communications
  • Analyze BOMs, inventory positions, consumption trends, and forecast accuracy metrics
  • Organize and maintain Excel trackers, reporting files, and forecast accuracy tools
  • Update BOM data, forecasts, replan inputs, and consumption reports as information becomes available
  • Compile summary reports, supplier requirement files, and material reference tools to support team decision‑making
  • Support Global fabric forecast preparation for approved vendors
  • Research MOQ issues, discrepancies, or missing data to assist sourcing and planning
  • Refresh month‑end reports to ensure data reflects the latest demand, supply, and inventory inputs
  • Update S&OP tools to maintain accurate demand, supply, and inventory views for monthly reviews
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will need to make an impact
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and make practical recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new system
  • Comfortable collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate professionally via phone, email, and in‑person
