Job DescriptionThe Government Services Administration (GSA) Vehicle Program Specialist is responsible for managing all operational activities related to the GSA vehicle program at assigned branch locations. This position ensures that GSA vehicles are received, inspected, and prepared for sale in compliance with GSA and company standards. The role requires broad operational knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations for all GSA vehicles, including detailed inspections, documentation accuracy, and readiness for sale.
- Oversee vehicle logistics, schedule maintenance and inspections, and coordinate required services such as oil changes, diagnostics, and body work.
- Serve as the primary contact for GSA representatives, providing timely updates and professional communication.
- Maintain GSA records, inspection reports, and transactional documentation in compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
- Promote safety by following company policies, using PPE, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform general branch support activities as needed, including vehicle check‑in, data entry, and administrative tasks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and coordinate repair needs.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with customer‑service experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital inspection/record‑keeping tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, exercising sound judgment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Understanding of vehicle title processes and auction operations.
- Experience supporting government contracts, GSA programs, or fleet marshalling operations.
