JOB PURPOSE
The Jr. Business Development Associate is responsible for creatively sourcing and recruiting freight broker agent partners to join the LDi team and developing a relationship pipeline of business partners, leads, and networks.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creatively source and recruit freight broker agent partners using networking, inhouse leads, competitive intelligence/research sourcing tools, etc.
• Develop a recruiting strategy to meet requirements.
• Provide recruiting sourcing recommendations to the team.
• Utilize social media, Indeed, and Linked In to find new candidates and stay connected with them.
• Build strong relationships with business partners, leads, networks, and teammates.
• Assist Agent Development Managers with the onboarding process.
• Meet hiring requirements set forth by management.
• Attend LDi’s weekly sales meeting.
• Stay current on logistic industry trends.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1+ year(s) experience in recruiting or sales (experience may be overlooked in place of additional education).
• Logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
• Confidence and ability to prospect, cold call, network, and develop relationships.
• Proficiency with job boards and social media strategies.
• Self motivated, energetic selfstarter with a positive attitude.
