Job Description
Administers the leave of absence; including absences related to WC, DBL, FMLA, PFL, LOA, and return to work program for all Kaleida locations, taking into consideration legal/regulatory requirements and Kaleida's policies and labor contracts. Oversees the ADA program; guiding EEs through the process, maintaining ADA records and following up with ADA claim closures as needed. Coordinates the leave of absence and return to work of employees who have been absent due to illness and/or injury and provides assistance to employees and managers in identifying transitional return to work opportunities.
Works closely with claim administrators in tracking and minimizing lost time. Serves as a Human Resources team member in the delivery of human resources programs and services to all Kaleida employees.
Associate's degree or 2-3 years of relatable work experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience2 years experience with leave of absence administration including disability, FMLA, ADA and paid family leave or a related field with exposure to workers' compensation and/or medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with a commitment to a customer-focused, quality-driven environment. Ability to function effectively in a team environment. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet applications.
