Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Finance Intern based in Buffalo, New York. The Finance Intern will ideally work 40 hours/week during the summer. The intern will assist the Director of Accounting and Director of Tax and Insurance with multiple tasks. The internship program will provide the student with relevant skills in a variety of accounting functions via on-the-job training.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Collect and analyze financial data.
• Assist with monthly statutory financial reporting using SAP, Excel, and HFM under the supervision of LAG’s Accounting Manager, Controller and Director of Accounting.
• Assist on financial projects.
• Provide support for the Accounting department in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month end closing of the General Ledger.
• Perform various monthly and weekly accounting functions.
• Assist the Corporate Tax team with projects as assigned.
• Learn the key functionality of a corporate Accounting department.
