Our MAX internships offer real-world learning for accounting students every June through August. Be part of Freed Maxick’s fun and fast-paced environment. You’ll learn, grow and equip yourself with the skills needed to jump start your career.

As a MAX Program intern, you’ll join Western New York’s largest public accounting firm, gaining real-world industry experience through a dynamic six-week program. You'll work closely with our staff and rotate through key service areas, including Accounting & Auditing, Tax, and Enterprise Advisory Services.

This selective, one-day program is designed for high-achieving accounting students eager to explore the world of public accounting. Students considering a future internship or career in public accounting who want a firsthand look at the profession are encouraged to apply!

Eligible candidates are Accounting Majors on track to complete 50 hours, their MBA, or MS in Accounting in December of 2027 or May of 2028, and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
