Overview
Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Industry experience is not required, but first-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are essential. Work in a fun, upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.

The role involves managing day-to-day tasks, welcoming guests and members, selling memberships and training services, and leading staff to work as a cohesive unit.
The position requires self-motivation, leadership, collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to positively influence others.
Important:
This is a sales position. If you are uncomfortable with sales or calling strangers to invite them to visit our club, this may not be the right role. We seek a motivated salesperson to grow our membership base and coaching program, with the main responsibility to sell our services and inspire belief in health and fitness.
- Membership Sales — include membership and training sales; qualify, inform, inspire, and convert leads to members using a proven system that helps guests start a fitness program. The system is designed to feel natural and inspirational, not like hard selling.
- Personal Training Sales and Services — focus on selling personal training and related services.
- Group workouts — spend about 1/3 of time leading pre-designed workouts in a group setting, energizing and motivating clients, modifying exercises for various skill levels, and ensuring safety using heart rate monitors and proper techniques.
- Club Promotional Marketing — establish relationships with businesses and influencers for B2B marketing, coordinate campaigns, and support community outreach; familiarity with creating and using social media is a plus.
- Community Involvement — participate in local events and activities, even on Saturdays, and engage with the Chamber of Commerce and community events.
- Networking / Employee Wellness — build a network with employers and insurers to promote healthier lifestyles and find solutions that help all parties.
- Team Building — train, guide, and inspire personal trainers, group trainers, and staff to foster a positive, engaging environment.
- Member Experience — deliver top-notch customer service and create an environment that inspires members and guests to share their experiences with others.
- Operations — maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked gym; ensure staff observe safety procedures and equipment is functional; follow daily cleaning checklists.
- Staffed Hours — hours may change by season and events; willingness to work Saturdays during peak season.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma minimum
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an exercise-related field highly preferred
- Sales experience preferred or willingness to learn how to sell
- Management experience is a plus
- Friendly, outgoing, warm, coachable, adaptable to changes, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible hours;
Saturdays required during peak season (October–March) - Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others; able to work independently without constant guidance
- Excellent communication and time-management skills; works well with others
- Positive attitude and ability to inspire others to take action
- Able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform gym-related duties

Position is full-time. Competitive base salary ranges from $35,000 to $50,000 based on experience, with the opportunity to earn monthly sales commissions. This position reports to the District Manager.
