Whirltronics is currently looking to add a talented Mechanical Engineer to our engineering team. The Whirltronics engineering group is focused on the continuous improvement of production using lean principles and through the design of new and innovative processes and equipment. Responsibilities- Manage engineering duties related to customer prototyping of parts
- Design and test new product processes/equipment
- Manage projects from concept to completion
- Use lean principles to identify and implement improvements
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Provide technical support to the production team
- Create and review technical drawings and plans using CAD software
- Assist with internal and external engineering teams in designing and building innovative equipment
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Experience using CAD software such as Inventor or similar
Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to apply math skills and engineering principles to identify and resolve problems
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Must be self-motivated and a great team member
Schedule- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
