For over a decade, we've earned a reputation as a trusted IT partner by delivering transformative, mission‑aligned solutions. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a strategic, technically fluent Solutions Architect who thrives on innovation, problem‑solving, and creating tangible impact. This is a high‑profile, customer‑facing role that serves as the technical authority and solutions orchestrator within our Solutions and Services Team.
You will be the bridge between business needs and cutting‑edge technologies — shaping, guiding, and delivering scalable solutions that align to our clients’ missions.
- Architect, design, and deliver secure and scalable infrastructure solutions across networking, cyber security, and on‑prem environments.
- Identify risks and recommend strategic, scalable architectures that address both near‑term needs and long‑term growth.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Engineers to tailor solutions that address customer objectives and business outcomes.
- Lead customer conversations to translate mission needs into technology solutions, clearly articulating value and ROI.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging infrastructure and security technologies to support continuous innovation for our federal clients.
- Guide Proof of Concept efforts to explore and validate solution feasibility for complex customer environments.
- Support vendor evaluations and assessments to ensure optimal tooling and integration for security, compliance, and performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor internally and externally, influencing both the customer journey and Paragon Micro’s growth strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with vendors, partners, suppliers, and federal customers to amplify our technical capabilities and brand.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance standards, and best practices to maintain thought leadership in your domain.
- Trusted technical advisor with a credible presence in customer, vendor, and internal stakeholder engagements.
- Strong breadth of technical knowledge, with deep experience in designing and integrating complex systems.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence outcomes, lead cross‑functional collaboration, and execute with excellence.
- Adept at aligning technology solutions with business needs—able to pivot from C-level strategy discussions to detailed technical conversations.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a hybrid work environment and is comfortable leading large‑scale meetings and technical workshops.
- Demonstrates resilience, creativity, and passion when solving challenges that others see as roadblocks.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, systems design, or IT engineering, with demonstrated expertise in secure environments.
- Deep technical proficiency in Networking and Cyber Security.
- Relevant technology certifications are a plus.
- Proven success designing and executing strategic architecture plans within federal, enterprise, or highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations, security architectures, automation, and systems integration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable leading technical white‑boarding sessions, solution workshops, and customer briefings.
- Strategic mindset balanced with practical execution.
- Curiosity, optimism, and a continuous drive to learn and grow.
- Collaborative spirit and a bias for action.
- Sincere investment in customer success and delivering mission outcomes.
- A sense of humor and humility—we take our work seriously, not ourselves.
