Environmental Department Manager - Natural Resources

Responsibilities

• Commit to managing the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental technicians and project managers (must supervise at least 2 full‑time employees), oversee environmental services projects and report reviews, prepare proposals for environmental services, manage departmental P&L, and assist other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
• Supervise employees and handle daily management of the department.
• Perform report preparation and project management duties as needed by the department.

• BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Geology, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $82,000 — $120,000 per year. The final agreed‑upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.

• The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education and license requirements from the “Required Qualifications” section: E-6/E-7/O-2/O-3.
