Mechanical Design Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support existing products, drive Cost Value Engineering (CVE) initiatives, and contribute to new mechatronic product development. This role focuses on designing and optimizing mechanical hardware including controllers, sensors, actuators, enclosures, and accessories while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

• Design and modify components using 3D modeling software for mechatronic systems
• Develop mechanical layouts, component details, and illustrations using engineering tools
• Utilize Siemens PLM NX
  , Team Center
  , and ERP systems (SAP) for design and data management
• Generate product cost estimates, schedules, and engineering specifications
• Support assembly of electro-mechanical hardware and lab validation activities
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering specifications
• Partner with vendors to optimize design, tooling, and production costing
• Troubleshoot product issues at field offices, distributors, and customer locations
• Assist suppliers in resolving manufacturing or production challenges

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design for electro-mechanical products
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens NX

  , and SAP preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering project management tools
• Experience in mechanical lab or hands‑on testing environments is a plus
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and reporting
