Kinder Camp Counselor 2026:
Kindergarten Camp Counselors support a summer camp program for children entering Kindergarten by providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment each day. Counselors work as pairs to oversee a camp group of 14 campers. Counselors also work closely with the Camp Supervisor and fellow staff to lead activities, supervise children, and ensure positive camp experiences.
Responsibilities:- Actively supervising children and assisting with daily routines.
- Leading and participating in themed activities, group games, art projects, outdoor play, and water activities.
- Maintaining a clean and organized camp space and following safety procedures.
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development.
- Accompanying children on weekly trips to Spray N’ Play and assisting with on-site field trips.
- Lifting and carrying 30–40 pounds during camp set‑up, clean‑up, or while supervising children.
The Kinder Camp Counselor position is open to all qualified applicants 16 years of age (as of June 1, 2026) and up. Early childhood work experience or education is preferred.
Hours:Kinder Camp is from 8:30 am–2:30 pm Monday–Friday. The camp runs from June 8 to July 31, 2026. Kinder Camp training is mandatory and will begin on June 1, 2026. No absences are granted for this 8‑week program.
SalaryStarts at $16/hr, depending on experience.
