* This is a fully onsite position. Salary range flexible based off years of experience, targeting 65k-80k
* The Property Accountant will handle high‑volume, property‑level accounting on a cash basis and support reporting needs across the portfolio. This role partners closely with property managers and the Controller to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations.

• Maintain property general ledgers and process journal entries (cash basis)
• Prepare bank and account reconciliations; research and resolve variances
• Process high‑volume invoices, payments, and vendor expenses
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare monthly property financial reports and assist with year‑end audit requirements
• Partner with property managers and vendors to address accounting‑related questions
• Support the Controller with ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects
• Ensure accounting processes align with GAAP, internal controls, and company standards

• 2–8 years of property accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Yardi and Excel
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple properties
• Effective communicator who can partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors
