Overview

Job Description and duties for the position are as described below. The role involves store operations, customer service, order processing, and delivery responsibilities, with on‑the‑job training provided.

• Operate equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area storage and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Deliver product by car to customers and distribute marketing materials (flyers/door hangers) as needed.

• Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.

• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to perform precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks and delivering.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees F in cooler to 90 degrees F and higher in some areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature; exposure to food odors and commercial dust; cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks; depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

• Standing; walking on ceramic tile and linoleum; heights of work surfaces generally 36" to 48".
• Walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds (deliveries), carrying items from storage to front of store, pushing/pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders occasionally, bending and reaching actions throughout the day.

• Delivery-related requirements:
  Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to insured vehicle; navigational skills to locate addresses within designated delivery area; ability to handle adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings during deliveries.

• Carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages; driving within designated delivery area; walking between store and delivery vehicle; climbing stairs as needed.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering; sensing requirements include far and night vision for driving.
